Q: Where are cabin kits currently delivered?
A: At this time, Anderson North delivers cabin kits only to Maine and Massachusetts. Delivery costs apply in both states. Please email andersonnorth.info@gmail.com for details and to request an invoice.
Q: Do you ship out of state or nationwide?
A: Not yet. Right now, we’re focused on Maine and Massachusetts, but expansion will happen in the future.
Cabin Kits & Building
Q: What comes with a cabin kit?
A: Each kit includes all the lumber, hardware, and roofing materials you need, plus a step-by-step guide. Tools are not included.
Q: Do I need to be a professional builder?
A: No! These kits are designed for DIY builders. With two people and basic tools, most cabins can be assembled in a few weekends.
Q: How long does it take to build a cabin?
A: Depending on your pace and crew, the North Base (8×10) can often be built in a weekend or two, while the North Extended (8×14) may take longer.
Q: Can I customize a cabin kit?
A: Customization may be possible in the future. If you’d like to discuss specific needs, please reach out by email.
Q: Are cabin kits insulated?
A: Kits come with the structural materials and roofing. Insulation and interior finishing are up to the customer, so you can customize it for your climate and needs.

Q: How do I pay for a cabin kit?
A: Cabin kits are purchased in full at checkout. Paying upfront secures your order, locks in your delivery date, and keeps the process simple and fast.
Q: Do you offer financing?
A: No, financing is not currently available directly through Anderson North. Customers can explore financing with their own bank or credit union if desired.

Q: Can I return a cabin kit?
A: No, returns are not accepted for cabin kits. Each order is custom-prepared with materials purchased specifically for you.
Q: Who handles building permits or zoning?
A: Customers are fully responsible for checking with local code enforcement to ensure compliance with building regulations in their area.
Q: What if something is damaged in delivery?
A: Please notify us immediately if any part of your kit arrives damaged. We’ll work with you to address it.
