Delivery Policy

Anderson North LLC provides SHELTRIX 8×8 survival cabins designed for off-grid, backyard, and seasonal use. Delivery services are available from Maine to Massachusetts.

Delivery Charges

Delivery fees are not included in the kit purchase price and are invoiced separately to the customer’s email after checkout. Customers must select a delivery option during purchase to ensure accurate scheduling and pricing.

  • Local Delivery (≤100 miles): $300. This rate covers fuel, labor, and short-haul transport costs within Maine.

  • Statewide Maine (100–250 miles): $450. This rate covers extended travel, fuel, and labor within Maine.

  • Massachusetts: Starting at $950. This covers deliveries to Massachusetts and nearby regions (final cost may vary based on exact distance and logistics).

Anderson North LLC reserves the right to adjust delivery fees by up to 10% in the event of significant fuel price increases, with advance notice to the customer.

Delivery Schedule

All deliveries are batched and scheduled Tuesdays through Thursdays to align with the owner’s availability and ensure efficient operations. Customers will receive email notification at least one week in advance to confirm the delivery date and site accessibility. Scheduling is coordinated using Google Calendar, and customers must provide a valid delivery address via the Squarespace checkout form.

Site Accessibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery site meets accessibility requirements:

  • Minimum height clearance: 14 feet

  • Minimum width: 16 feet (2 feet wider than the 6.3 ft × 14 ft trailer)

  • Site must be level, stable, and well-drained.

Anderson North LLC is not liable for damages, delays, or additional costs resulting from inaccessible sites or unsafe conditions. Customers must ensure their site is prepared before delivery, following the included deck block foundation instructions.

Liability and Responsibilities

Anderson North LLC sells unassembled SHELTRIX 8×8 cabin kits and provides detailed assembly instructions but does not offer on-site setup or installation services.
Customers are responsible for:

  • Obtaining any required permits

  • Ensuring zoning and code compliance

  • Safely assembling and using the kit per provided instructions

Improper assembly, modifications, or failure to follow instructions will void any limited warranty. Anderson North LLC is not liable for injuries, property damage, or non-compliance arising from assembly, site preparation, or product use.

Payment and Invoicing

Customers may purchase using either:

  • Full Payment: $9,500 in advance

  • Partial Payment Option: $5,000 non-refundable deposit + $4,500 balance due within 45 days of deposit date and before delivery

All sales are final upon payment, and deposits are non-refundable once production begins. Delivery invoices are issued through QuickBooks and must be paid in full before scheduling.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes related to delivery or service will be resolved directly with Anderson North LLC through good-faith communication. This Delivery Policy may be updated periodically, and customers are encouraged to review the Terms of Service for the most current version.
