Who we are
Anderson North LLC was founded with a clear vision: to make affordable, off-grid living accessible for everyone. What began as an idea has grown into a business rooted in resilience, craftsmanship, and community.
Our founder, Ashley Anderson, brings a unique blend of professional experience, education, and lived perspective into Anderson North. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, where she placed in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Challenge, and an Associate of Arts in Electronic Media from Holyoke Community College.
Before founding Anderson North, Ashley worked extensively as a crisis worker, supporting individuals through some of life’s most difficult challenges. That experience — combined with her development of innovative mental health app concepts — shaped her understanding of how vital stability, safety, and independence are in people’s lives.
Ashley’s path wasn’t a straight line. She comes from humble beginnings and once set her sights on law school before discovering her deeper purpose in helping others. Over the years, her work and her personal journey have solidified her belief that independence, dignity, and security should never feel out of reach.
In 2022, Ashley relocated to Maine, where the housing and homelessness crisis further ignited her drive to create practical, affordable solutions. Anderson North was born from that vision: a business built on the belief that everyone deserves the tools and spaces to create security and freedom with their own hands.
At Anderson North, every project carries the reminder:
“This is yours, and you built it.”
This is only the beginning. As Anderson North grows, so will our ability to innovate, collaborate, and give back — expanding into opportunities that strengthen both our customers and communities across state lines. Anderson North is where craftsmanship meets purpose, led by a founder whose life’s work has always been about helping others build strength out of challenge.
