Own a Cabin for a Fraction of the Cost
Why spend over $100,000 when you can build your own insulated A-frame for $9,500–$13,500? Pre-cut, labeled, and flat-packed, our kits assemble in 1–3 weekends with basic tools — giving you a durable cabin you can truly call your own.
We Have Two Payment Plans
At Anderson North LLC, we believe everyone deserves access to dignified housing without financial barriers. That's why we offer two straightforward payment options for our 8x8 Sheltrix A-Frame Cabin Kit (priced at $9,500). Both ensure your custom-built kit is secured with high-quality materials sourced from local Maine wood suppliers, but they cater to different budgets and timelines. Choose the one that works best for you:
Full Upfront Payment
Pay the total $9,500 at the time of ordering. This option kickstarts production immediately, minimizing wait times and ensuring the fastest possible delivery (typically 4-6 weeks, depending on current demand). It's ideal if you're ready to move forward without delay and want to lock in your kit right away. No additional fees or holds—just a simple, one-time transaction that applies directly to your purchase.
Non-Refundable Payment Plan
Start with a $5,000 non-refundable deposit to secure your materials, labor, and place in our build schedule. This deposit is applied toward the total $9,500 purchase price, with the remaining $4,500 balance due within 45 days of the deposit date and before delivery.
Once production begins (typically within 1–2 weeks of deposit receipt), the deposit becomes final and non-refundable to cover custom ordering and preparation for your built-to-order kit. If the remaining balance is not received within 45 days, your order will be automatically canceled, and your deposit will be forfeited. Delivery scheduling begins only after full payment is received.
⚠️ Reminder: All deposits are non-refundable once production begins, even if the order is canceled or delayed due to non-payment.
This option was created to make Anderson North cabins more accessible and inclusive—especially for those who may not be able to afford the full payment upfront. It lowers the initial cost, letting you begin your build journey sooner while supporting our small business’s sustainability and fairness. As with similar tiny home providers, this policy ensures we can maintain quality without overcommitting resources.
Whichever option you select, your kit includes everything from high grade lumber and insulated panels to step-by-step instructions for a seamless build.
